Took an unemployment gap/break of 4 months - used it for some rest, some travel & ample preparation besides improving health.
Have following 2 offers in Pune :

1. Company: Gojek/GoToFinancial
   Title/Level: Lead Software Engineer
   Location: Pune
   Salary: 56 LPA INR (Base)
   Joining Bonus: 5 LPA INR
   Retention Bonus: 0
   Stock bonus: $45k vested over 4 years, ~8L per year (already listed)
   Performance Bonus: upto 11L (~20% of base), expecting 10%, ~6L per year, but not including in total
   Total comp (Salary + Bonus + Stock): (56 + 5 + 8) = 69 LPA

2. Company : PhonePe
   Title/Level: Software Engineer
   Location: Pune
   Salary: 54 LPA INR (Base)
   Joining Bonus: 7 LPA INR (at end of 1st month)
   Retention Bonus: 7 LPA INR (at end of 13th month)
   Stock bonus: $50k vested over 4 years, ~9L per year (not yet listed)
   Performance Bonus: 0 (standard at startups I guess as they talk about potentially huge hikes)
   Total comp (Salary + Bonus + Stock): (54 + 7 + 9) = 70 LPA

Although I have already chosen/decided, I'm yet to sign. I'd be happy to know your opinions.
A. Which one would you choose or which one would you recommend among the two & why?
B. Any comments/comparison about the work life balance at either of the companies?
C. Do you think it is too low given my experience? If yes, What range should I target/negotiate?
D. Any other companies I should apply to that offer a better compensation in Mumbai/Pune?
