Amazon India offered ~85L TC for SDE-2. The team is new, didn’t find the work exciting but the money is making me slip.

Market is going bonkers right now. 2 yoe getting 85 lpa. This seems unsustainable in long run.

No it's unsustainable if you compare with EU. Even experienced developers get paid less than 85 lpa there in EU. Even in India experienced professional with 5+ yoe are easily available at this figure. You need to justify your salary by bringing in more revenue then what you are being paid for, which I doubt someone at less than 2 yoe will be able to provide unless Someone is genius and has already written research papers. Many internal sde 2 with 5+ yoe are getting paid less than this. This is definitely not sustainable in longer run.

Yep, right now in inflation bubble companies are cash rich. So we see inflation in salaries in India and US. But with fed tapering program, this funding is going to dry and salaries will crash. We can already see layoffs happening in Indian startups with VC funding drying up. This job market run is going to get over till June.
