Interview Experience Summary:

• OA Round ( 1 LLD + 4 Problem Solving Problems) : 70 mins.
• DS Algo Round ( Detailed discussion and optimization of each problem solved in OA round + 1 medium + 1 medium/hard problem. Detailed understanding of the solution, approach, DS used, etc is expected. Interviewers expected the best time complexity solution for each problem including OA questions. For recursive divide and conquer type solution, I was asked to start with writing the recurrence relation first. You must be able to clearly prove the time and space complexity of your solution.): 90 mins.
• HM Round (Very detailed talks on my current work + HLD (simple web app with concurrency related problem). I was never in my life grilled this much on my work experience. The interviewer was a Head of Engineering at PhonePe and asked literally everything about my work. They don't care whether what you worked on was something huge or state of the art. They are interested in the fact that no matter what you did, but how much do you understand that project and the other projects that are impacted by your work.): 60 mins.
• Overall I found the interview process more challenging than the experience some of my friends had at Amazon interview.
