Giving back to the community and here is a post regarding my offer detail for a New Grad position at Meta.
Location is Menlo Park, CA.
Background is Master's at top 5 CS universities in the US and graduating this May.
I will make another post about the interviewed questions but 4 out of 6 questions I encountered during the interview process are within the top 75 Facebook tagged Leetcode questions. So, studying them and prepare the top 100 FB questions really helps!!
Base: 150,000, vested in four years
Bonus: 10.00 % of base salary, subject to change based on personal performance and company performance that year
Sign on Bonus: 10,000 for moving to Bay Area
Total Compensation for the first year: $229,000
Other benefits such as 401k, gym, campus lunch etc. are pretty similar to regular standards among FAANG companies.
Really appreciate everyone's help. I started leetcoding last summer in June, 2021. Went from a newbit who would spend hours dwelling on a easy leetcode question to Meta offer, all thanks to everyone's help among posts and other supports, so don't lose hope! If you think you can do it or you can't do it, you are both right.
Also would like to ask everyone's opinion: debating between Meta and Coinbase currently. TC from both companies are similar: but Coinbase is all remote so it does not offer a sign on bonus nor relocation bonus. If one is mainly looking for Career growth, would you join Meta or Coinbase?
