Now: I started Leetcode for 3 months or so (solved 200 problems, mostly not in an elegant way, I barely remebered/knew DP, graph, bakctracking, now started to learn them).

I was rejected after one phone interview with AMZN (It was a common LC Hard question, I was barely looking at mediums at the time).

I also had a GOOG phone interview. There is a specific graph algorithm that solves it elegantly. I tried to solve it using DFS with constraints. With hints from the interviewer my solution was very close to be correct (but not elegant). There is a good chance I would not get an onsite.

What are the chances of getting another phone interview with the companies I recently failed in onsite or phone screen. I feel like I can do better if I do more practice. I was just bulldozing through them(using all kinds of short cuts) to get my feet wet with leetcode.

Background:
15 years back I did get a SWE job at AMZN and (barely) passed GOOG onsite and I did not have the team match. I could not move and stayed in. Back in those days, no one had LC. So it was different.

In the middle Middle: Off and on recruiters would call me I would go for phone interviews without any prep because I was not planning to move [Those were not great as well, sometimes if it was an easy one i would solve it].
