Hi Leetcoders!\n\nI recently recieved two offers:\n\nMicrosoft:\nSDE II\nTC: ~150K \nLocation: Vancouver, BC\nTeam: Teams\n\nAmazon:\nSDE II\nTC: ~200K\nLocation: Vancouver, BC\nTeam: AWS external team \n\nI honestly have no idea which offer to take. \n\nAbout me:\nYOE: 4+\nFocus: Career progression, job security, future prospect, Company work, Teams, Culture, Salary\n\nHere are my thoughts so far:\n\nAmazon\n* Amazon pays more but the online reviews are simply on both ends of extreme and is very team depenedent so I don\'t really know what to make of it. \n* Amazon\'s work seems alright\n* Amazon allow eaiser internal transfer between orgs and teams \n* For Amazon, I most likely will stay between 2 - 4 years\n* Amazon has Pivot lol\n* No perks\n* crazy on call?\n* Is this a more of a "gamble" type choice? \n\nMicrosoft\n* Microsoft has better culture but less pay\n* Microsoft\'s work seems to be a bit more proprietery but should be fine\n* For Microsoft, I will most likely stay between 4 - 10 years if I join\n* Good perks\n* Nice office\n* Yearly bonus/refresher\n* Is this a safer choice?\n\nWhat are your throughts? Anything recommendation/experience/thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated!!\nThanks in advance!
