Hello.
I am on a very important page in my careers and I would really appreciate if you could give me advice because most of you have so much more experience than me.
I am a final-year computer science student at a top 5 university in the United Kingdom.
I am an international student from an Asian background and therefore I am not legally authorised to work in the U.S.
However, I really want to work in either New York or California. I was wondering how much chance there is for a new graduate like me (without U.S citizenship, green card, or any kind of visa) to get sponsorship and be able to work in the U.S? Most of my friends are looking for jobs here in London so I actually have no others to ask about this.
I will be given a post-study two-year work visa that will allow me to work for two years in the UK without getting any sponsorship so I guess it will be a little easier to secure a job in the UK than in the U.S. But if there is a chance that I can work in the U.S., I definitely want to challenge myself.
