My Daily work routine for last 6 years:
Java , J2EE is the stack that I work for.
On a daily basis I Fix bugs, debug and troubleshoot an eCommerce website.
Modifying existing Java, JSP HTML , Javascript, CSS code to resolve the issues.
Write SQL Queries to fetch data from RDBMS

Cleared Online Assessment
Rejected in Coderpad round - Answered one Hashmap coding question. Other question was on dynamic programming which I couldn't answer.

My questions are

1. Whether do software developers / engineers in all the above companies daily utlize Dijkstra, Dynamic Programming, Recursion in their coding ? Do they invent really new algorithms ?

2. I feel like practising the coding round questions is more of memorzing the solutions and not worth it when we go and work inside the company. No offence but personally I think The Leetcode premiums are just for getting an entry pass into the Big Companies. I don't think anyone after 6 years in a company would remember the algorithm for Merge sort, bubble sort or the questions they had practiced in Leetcode or from any other websites.

3. I don't have aversion to problem solving or coding because everyday I do troubleshooting and fix some problems but it should be based on real time and the interview quesitons should be based on what they actually do in their daily work.

With this state should I now change my career path from being a software developer to some other like Cloud, DevOps Engineer, Full stack web developement or how should I bring an intution to algorithms and get the algorithmic bent of mind and continue to be a software developer and get job in one of these Major Tech Companies in India?

Need some advise please
