Hi Helpies
I am more of an introvert and that's why I am posting this anonymously.
I am working for Infosys as Specialist Programmer, I am doing great here and have a reputation, people even higher management look up to me and get motivated. I have done several certifications (16+), and my technology stack is 30+ languages and frameworks. I have helped company to release two major products which have many active clients from fortune 100.
Good right, well I haven't started yet. My experience in corporate is just 3 years (2017 passout) and money was never a motivator for me.
But things are not adding up now, I want to take a switch and FAANG (Not for money, its a dream) is the goal. I have 3 years for preparation.
I am very good in solving real life problems but I hate algorithms (Yes you people have the right to be mad at me.). I have been interviewed at many startups but most of them said I am over-qualified and they can't pay me the salary I expect due to my experience (& I can't switch on salary less than my current salary).
I am able to solve most programming problems but most of the times its time complexity or space complexity that takes away the opportunity from me.
So coming to the point.
Also (may be out of context), I lost focus when I lost someone, I had a series of plans around that person and that person being gone now, all those plans have lost their meaning and purpose and I don't want to move on.
Thanks for your advice :) .
