I have an offer at Amazon, which would require a move, and a local offer. The total compensation for the next year is pretty similar, when cost of living is accounted for. But, the growth as an Amazon employee, and after Amazon is tremendous and hard to think about. I'm comfortable now, and I've never imagined making the kind of money you can make as an SDE II or III, or as an ex-Amazonian. I also know work life balance will be much better at the local company.

Any tips on making this decision?
