To start with my question, currently I am working in Qualcomm after my post graduation from IIIT Bangalore.
Unfortunately it does not require much of coding skills especially algorithmic skills although we need to have a good fundamentals
on C/C++ and OS.
So I have a couple of questions/doubts in mind:

1. How beneficial is the career as embedded software engineer for a CS graduate since much of the people in this direction are from electronics
   background and what is the future of this.
2. Although there are many things to learn here also especially on Kernel/Device Drivers/HAL layer that we don't generally get to learn at any other places, should I switch to a purely software based company and how difficult will it be after getting experience from here, for say 2 or more years.

Have these questions in mind from a long time and I feel leetcode is a very good platform to discuss ! Thanks in advance!
