So ill take a few minutes of your time. Hope you guys read this and give out your valuable feedbacks.
I did Computer Science Engineering from a very not popular college. I had taken up CSE as i was somewhat good at C++ taught a school level and wanted to make things. However we did not have a PC at home so learnt only at school and then went on for CSE so i could become an engineer and build stuff with code
But in the second year had a very major accident and missed almost 2 sems exam and another sems classes.. so post that i completed the course but have pending backlogs.
So after the 4 years I took up the first job i got in IT which was the JOB of a software manual tester.Due to this job i was not able to clear the backlogs I took up the job as i badly needed one considering the financial status of my family at the time. now its 2 years past that and i just dont want to be doing it and move to SDE.
I had always wanted to become SDE so i brushed up my coding a bit. I Have completed almost 300 questions
here on LC( 168 - easy, 112 - medium and 8 hard) more than 200 qstns at GFG in the past 2 months.I Am also working a day job so it may not seem much..None of the recruiters i contact have responded. i am being ghosted by a lot of the connections i approach on linkedin for career advice.
I really enjoy coding and i want to be doing it
Im in love with this process but it would be really nice if i could get a job as well in it
SO Now that you know my background story lets come to the part which i actualy wanted insights on.
How can someone like me can break in to the world of SDE.?
I Think there might be more people than we can think of in the same situation
Any kind of help is appreaciated
Just a nudge to where to look at if been through same or similar situation would be great
any feedback is valuable
Thanks in advance and happy coding
