Before you come to conclusion why am i asking this trivial question that I can google easily let me explain the specifics.
I am from a abc college of which no one has heard of. So if i apply to some large companies my cv simply would get lost. Then comes the contecting the recruiter directly. But my resume is not very flashy. I am a div1 coder on codechef and thats it and there are some personal projects (3) i have done in college. I have a job in service based company. Previously i was planning of gaining some experience and after that applying to other companies.
I am 2020 graduate. To me i have never a chance in getting an interview in a big company. However even my cp background is not very topnotch but when i am solving problems here i have solved all the medium problems pretty easily and 3/5 hard problems. I am seeing a lot of interview experience here and those are heavily depended on data structures and algorithms. I am now working towards solving more hard problems. I think if i get an interview i have a chance. But how do I approach the recruiter with my medicore profile? Do i even have a chance? And also if you know about some good but not so famous product based companies(FANG) that might give me a chance please tell. Thanks.
