I have seen many people on this site talk about how they have interviewed multiple times with the same company (e.g., Google).
I was wondering whether there is any limit on the number of times you can apply. I suspect that there is no hard limit (e.g., max of n tries in lifetime); instead, the truth is likely that after getting rejected n (n=3,4,5,...?) times, you have a low chance of getting another chance to interview. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
Related to the above post, how long do you need to wait before reapplying? The answer seems to be 6-12 months.
I ask all of this because I need to plan when and with what preparation I apply. If I only have two chances in my entire life to apply to, say, Google, I want to make sure that I am as prepared as possible. If I can apply every year for the rest of my life (!!), then I am more willing to go in with less preparation and learn from the experience.
