Hi, I'm a second-year computer science who can't even code and only knows the basic syntax. Amazon recruiter hiring manager has personallyasked them to reach out to me and asked for an interview for a software engineering position however I'M STILL IN UNI AND I CAN'T EVEN CODE!!! I'M NOW SOOO STRESSED EVEN THOUGH I HAVEN'T APPLIED FOR ANY JOBS AT ALL. I know literally nothing besides syntax and using youtube tutorials for assignments. I went on youtube and saw that you have to solve a code for the interview BUT I DON'T EVEN KNOW ALGORITHMS OR DATA STRUCTURE AT ALL!! My uni hasn't even taught us. I feel like my degree was all a lie where's the JD Robot and Arudion questions ahaha. I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE IN ANYTHING AND HAVEN'T BEEN TAUGHT IT AT UNI. I'm kinda stressed out like where should I start? what should I do? how do I even learn how to solve the code questions? what coding language does amazon even use? Why did they have to reach out to me omg why I'm glad but I have nothing to offer literally nothing!
I do data analytics, software development, artificial intelligence, computer ethics, computational thinking, JD Robot, Arduino etc. We just have never done algorithms and data structures at all. I can do front end development so I'm good with HTML, CSS and Javascript along with frameworks. But the backend is a whole other story. I can code but i just like to be dramatic because I looked at the coding questions and was like wtf is this. I guess i don't know how to code.
