Technical phone screening interviews

I believe most companies conduct phone screening interviews via Coderpad or something similar. I was wondering:

  1. If we need to write absolutely compilable code? I guess not since I believe we can't run code on Coderpad? Correct me if I'm wrong please.
  2. Can we share additional screens to interviewers? Normally I used an ipad to draw/brainstorm ideas, I found being stuck in a single screen make me much less efficient in solving problems. Not sure if that's the requirements or I can share ipad screen and take the interviewers through what I'm thinking? This is similar to whiteboard in onsite interviews so not sure if that's allowed?
  3. Are technical phone screening questions easier than onsite ones?

Thanks
