what made you decide to move forward virtual as opposed to in-person later?

It seems hiring committee and interviewers would come into virtual session with unenthusiastic/passive mindset due to lack of in-person energy and that can affect the overall dynamic of interaction and result.

how did you weigh these issues, and how was your virtual experience compared to F2F, esp for sys-design sessions?
