Hi guys, need some advice.\n\nProfile:\nYOE: 4 in India + 11month internship in US \nDegree: Masters\n\nI have 2 offers that I need to decide between\n\na) **Frontend Engineer I** at Amazon (Everything almost same as SDE track, Location: Seattle)\n\t-Base: 130k\n\t- Stocks: 100k ( Vested 5%,15% and then remaining)\n\t- Bonus: 63k across 2 years +  ( 7k relocation )\n\t- TC in Seattle ( 0 state tax ) is $169,000\n\t\nb) **Software Engineer 3 - Frontend** -  at eBay (Location: San Jose)\n\t- Base: 160k\n\t- Stocks: 66k ( Vested 25% each year for 4 years )\n\t- Bonus: 30k\n\t- TC in San Jose ( loads of tax will be applied ): ~$206,000 \n\nI need to decide between Higher role at **eBay SE3** vs an **Amazon SDE1/FE1**.\n\nBoth companies are good, but I am unable to decide. \nAmazon is the more stable of the 2 and surely the better brand while eBay is offering a higher position. Assuming I switch jobs after 2 years will an SE3 help me land a better pay/role or FEE1 from Amazon will have a better chance. From a career prospective which company would be better?\n\nI think money isn\'t a major factor here since in California after taxes the differenence would be less than 10k since Seattle state tax is 0.\n\nAny inputs are welcome!\nThanks in Advance.\n\n**Update:**\neBay upped the salary further. Chose eBay given the salary + SSE\n\t- Base: 160k\n\t- Stocks: 90k ( Vested 25% each year for 4 years )\n\t- Bonus: 40k\n\t- TC in San Jose: ~$222,500
