Hello Leetcoders,
I started using leetcode last September when I started my preparation. I was contacted by recruiter at Google for backend role . Even though I never aimed for Google, I thought I will just give it a try. I just thought I will never make it then. I cleared the phone screen. As, I was not prepared , I asked recruiter for 2 months to prepare for onsite. I was called for onsite after that. I was totally nervous because it's my first FAANG onsite. At that point I did nearly 270 problems. I was not able to clear the onsite. I got a feedback that I was not good at DS & Algorithms.

I was contacted by amazon recruiter later. Amazon is my dream company. I was not confident after Google . But still, I gave OA and passed them . I delayed onsite due to the fear of rejection. Due to covid19, onsite interviews became virtual. I used this time to prepare and told my recruiter that I was ready for virtual onsite. I had three rounds on the same day and I didn't hear from them till 10 days. Later I got a call for bar raiser round. I was confident that I can clear it. I prepared and revised.

On the interview day, I was relaxed but I made a silly mistake during the interview and the interview kept on pointing it. I explained him that it was a mistake and told correct solution. I thought it went well. But after two days, I got a mail that I was rejected. I don't understand where I am doing wrong. I prepared enough and I am able to solve the questions (with clues , if I am stuck ) in the interview process.

Please anyone stuck like me in the past can offer their thoughts. I am totally confused what to do next. But,I want a job in FAANG. Is there anything wrong with my interview prep?
