Background: I am an software engineer with around 9 years in .net area(have bachelors), currently working as backend engineer in one of Australian company with a salary (around 140k AUD per year) (please don\'t compare with US salary). My partner is currently not working.\n\nNeed your help in guidance regarding my future.\n\n**Is it wise to do Masters in Computer Science or similar course(part time)** considering my situation(family to look after) and the fact it will cost around $(60-70)k for the entire course? \n\nMy aim for going for masters is for networking and improve my problem solving skills. Does a master\'s degree creates better prospects working in companies like Google/Facebook/Amazon etc? **Or preparation via solving problems on leetcode, etc is better**? (I know there are limited opportunities in these companies in Australia but still.)
