Hi Everyone,\n\nLittle background about me.\n\nI am software engineer having 5.2 years of experience. Recently i was looking for job change and got couple of offers.\n\nOne of the offer is from Intralinks and their tech stack is React, Node js,Mysql / oracle ..\n\nI have experience in Java,Oracle,Spring boot,REST,Hibernate..\n\nThough i cleared their coding round and interview, they are asking me to join as Software Engineer.\nReason for giving software enginner role is I am not having experience in React and Node js.\n\nBut is it not true that technology keeps changing ? Is it justified that i am getting lowe desgination because i do not know react and node?\n\nThey say that they are compensating the low designation with higher package from different company.\n\nTheir career progression is Software Engineer --> Senior Software Engineer --> Principal SS I/II/III and so on.\n\nMy current role is Senior Applications Engineer and was promoted last year. Currently I work in good company.\n\nThe other company from whom i have offer, they are providing Senior Software Engineer.\n\nCan someone please guide to join them at the Software engineer?
