I currently work at Microsoft as a vendor. A manager for another team in Microsoft messaged me for interviewing as a Full-Time from my personal email (nothing on my resume directly states that I am a vendor contracting with Microsoft). Is there anything bad about being a vendor that would hurt me in the Microsoft FTE interviewing process? In the past, when I talked to recruiters, they seemed to stop communications when I mentioned that. Does it improve my chances if I try to hide the explicit fact that I am a vendor at Microsoft?
