Please help! I always thought software engineer interviews are somewhat similar (algo + system design).
but it seems for front end engineer, it's kinda of a different path.

less complicated algo? must use JavaScript?
testing upon HTML and CSS? maybe code up a web app on spot without library?
Do I need to prepare for system design?

Doesn't big company normally interview ppl as general software engineer first and then try to match up with front-end team or whatever their specialty is? How come front end hiring is a bit different.
