Company type: Small size design business.
My YOE: 2 years (including internships)
Last TC: $102k
The offer: 3 months of contract work (without benefits) and then Full time with all the benefits.

I have no idea how contracts work. How much I should ask for or whether I should even take my chance to work with this business.
Majority of my experience is in the Backend and this is a Front End focused (Craft CMS) job with "the best designers in the business"

Can this hurt my career?
What should I ask for the hourly rate?
