Recently I choked at my Google phone screen interview. It was my first time interview at Google. So, I was naturally stressed and my brain stopped functioning I guess.

While writing tests for strings, I could not even think of upper and lowercase characters. The problem was doable. Also, blunders made like calling Arrays.sort inside String constructor and what not.

I never had such terrible experience at any interview earlier. And I think I did everything that comes as DO-NOT-DO at phone interview. Like ignoring interviewer's existence and talking to myself only while writing code.

True, that I do not interview with many companies and hence I lack interview experience. But this time confidence dropped down so drastically and caused all these.

Any suggestion to prevent that happening? I know, I feel always underprepared, but solving all problems in LC wont help much.

How could I tackle this panic in any big/important interview? Appreciate your valuable suggestions.
