Hi,

I am a Front-End Web Dev with around 10 YOE in Javascript and Web development (5 YOE in mainframes before that). I'd like to think of myself very good JS dev and good UI architect. Now I am thinking about trying to get a job at the big tech companies (GOOG, FB, NFLX, APPLE). I have recently started reading algo books and feeling more and more confident every day. My timeline is around 1 year. My questions are:

1. Is career growth of a JS engineer similar to a Java engineer.
2. is JS a good programming language for interviews
3. What is a good salary for someone with my level of experience.
