Getting the most out of my internship. Opinions wanted

Earlier this summer I was hired as an intern at a rather small company to work on an upcomming project that revolves around the use of Deep Learning with Python to predict health records/codes.

I can't go too in depth on what I'm working on, however I feel like I'm getting very little out of this experience. I have very little experience with Python and only started using it maybe a month-or-so ago and I have even less experience with ML/DL concepts.

Where should I start? They have me doing numerous courses on Python and ML w/ Tensorflow online but they're completely dry and I have little-to-no guidance outside of the videos. I have been doing leetcode problems as a way to help solidify my knowledge in Python as these videos play on a second monitor.

I graduate from college at the end of the year and I want to be able to reference this internship and shown I have learned something from it because I feel like it'll help a lot for future job prospects.

If you were in my position, what would you do?
