Advise on preparing for Security Software Engineering position

For a typical software engineering interview in big companies like google or amazon, what do you typically prepare for system design, if the position you are interviewing for is in the security domain? Is there any specific system design topics, questions that you should rather focus or in general the technologies like MFA, PKI, SSO, FIPS cert, threats, protocols etc. or should a typical system design prep equally apply here. I was told by my recruiter that domain expertise is important. Want to hear someone's first hand experience.

Preferred qualifications:
• MS or PhD degree in Computer Science.
• 4 years of experience designing and implementing software systems in Java, C, C++ and/or Python, including experience designing security solutions for operating systems and distributed systems.
• Experience in applications security, cryptography, network security, systems security or malware analysis.
Responsibilities
• Research, design and apply advanced security techniques.
• Design and engineer cloud security services and infrastructure.
• Develop advanced security and cryptographic systems.
• Build large-scale detection systems.
