I realize that over the last year of applying to software engineering positions all across California and some out of state, my problem isn't in the interview but it's in getting the initial interview or getting someone to talk to.

I come from a computer science graduate background with a decent GPA. I have 0 internship experience and I worry about how the longer I'm without a job the less people would want me. However my current focus with tackling this problem is to just do more personal projects.

Any advice?
