Hi, I'm a fourth-year CS student from the US. What do I do before interviews? Anything but look at practice problems. Sometimes I even read a book in the waiting room. On the same day as an interview, I try to shore up whatever soft skills I can show. That means practicing my elevator pitch, thinking about what relevant experiences I can share, or just putting the interview that day into perspective. I'm not a high-tier CS student by any stretch, so I go into every interview viewing it as a learning experience. That way I won't be too put down if it doesn't turn into anything. Plus, it's important to stay calm when entering an interview. The more comfortable in your skin you are, the stronger impression you'll leave on the interviewer. Interviewers are people too, after all.
