Hello Everyone,\n\nI\'m a 2019 graduate, working as a data scientist in a service based company. I\'ve had two promotions, Associate DS to DS, DS to Senior DS, 2nd one in coming july 2022. I\'ve got an offer from Amazon for SDE1 - L4 even though I had applied for SDE2. Amazon is offering 50% more than what I am making after being promoted to Senior DS.\n\nEven though my title says data scientist, my role is based on Machine Learning Engineer. And even though work life balance is good, there isn\'t anything exicting that I do. All of my work are customer centric and there is a lot of loose ends/easy fixes just to get the job done. So i\'m not really learning anything here.\n\nI need advice on whether I take Amazon SDE1 because of pay, or continue in current company and keep applying for SDE2 roles?\n\nI\'m a moderate developer, i\'m still inclined to continue my role as ML Engineer.
