Hey Everyone,
I had one interview on Karat company for Coinbase company. But i got rejected with feedback of poor system design skills.
What i felt is that, the interview was robotic in nature that, intervewer gave 5 min to complete the system design question.
And in this period you cannot clarify the requirement, as time is very limited, which is very integral part of the system design. Interviewer will contantly give you the time check in this short span of time. So overall i feel, he could not judge my knowledge/expereince. Or the question is can they judge system design in 5 min?
Although most of the companies says that, they just don't rely on the Karat's feedback before the interview, but after the interview they generally says that its their policy that candidate has to pass the Karat interview.
I am posting this here, to know if what i am feeling is fair or not And what everyone else think about it?
Because of this experience and unfairness, I dont give any company's interview, who has Karat as their screening round. Today I just said no to the one of the company because of the Karat.
