I just got myself into Data Engineering at a startup. I also got few offers for SDE roles at reputed companies. Still I chose Data Engineer to explore the field.
I am liking the kind of work I do but I am still very much interested in doing the Backend work.
Specifically from the Salary perspective and future growth opportunities in India, what profile pays more in MAANG and similar companies for the same years of experience? SDE or Data Engineering!
