I am currently working at OCI-IDC ,In a very good and chill team where it is unlike the normal reviews of OCI which we find over the internet .
YOE 2.6 , OCI -MTS[IC2]
TC- 35[base]+8[Joining bonus]- ~72-75k/4 stocks[these are 1000 units]
Work is building DataLake for OCI , as the tech stack is good the product is not GA or LA and would take atleast 1 year for it to be live.

Now Microsoft is offering Software Engineer 2 for
TC- 35[Base]+ 12[Joining bouns] [8 First Year/4 2nd Year]+100 k stocks
Work is in Azure Object Storage Team in Noida.

Location was the Major factor for me behind this decision as I am in Delhi NCR and OCI started calling its employees to Banglore/Hyderabad.
now that I have put my papers here in OCI citing the reason of location , my Director was unhappy with this and said what you need to stay here and has said to reconsider my decision. The director is chill and I dont think he will take out vengeance if I decide to stay back
The news nowdays of layoffs and offers being rescinded have given me the chills .
PS. I had already declined MS offers 2-3 times in previous months,
If if Leave OCI i would be returning back my Joining Bonus + lossing out on stock options.
heard MS Object Storage team works on C++ which is not good for me as I have worked on Java/Scala all my experience .
Please advise.
