I am in hong kong and my major is economics. As I learnt some python for data analytics, and my cs major friend give me some leetcode question to do. I found I love to solve this kind of question, after 2months, i am able to solve the medium question, especially the dp question and binary search. And I want to be a software developer, but i am a year3 student, my friends received many financial companies offer, and I want to apply some front end and back end jobs, and i couldnt found any that give me a interview.
Actually, i am making website project, like making a personal website, and made few of machine learning projects and terminal game.
But my cs major's friends have wonderful cv about software development.
I feel lost because even I can beat them in leetcode means nothing at all.
Should I give up this career path or just keep finishing the website and give it a try.
