Hi Everyone!

I had interview with Google (SWE-III) earlier this month. The interview went well and got approved by the hiring committee already. However, the team matching process is not progressing at this moment since I said that I will not be able to join in next 6 months, and all the teams are currently looking for candidates that can join within next 3-4 months. So my recruiter said that the team matching may resume after a couple of months, and they cannot make a formal offer before that.

I also had an interview with Amazon (SDE-II) last week and they are going forward with an offer as well. I still don't know the offer details but I am assuming I will have a limited time to decide whether to accept the offer or not.

If I had both offers at the same time, I would choose Google. But what if I reject Amazon now, and due to some reason I never get any team match in Google. In that case I would lose both options. What is the best way to deal with this situation? Can accepting an offer and then rejecting it later somehow have a bad impact on my career?
