Hi!
I'm a very enthusiastic engineer, namely senior software developer. I have 5 years of very intensice experience, participated in all the aspects of project development, starting form setting up hardware, DevOpsing, mentorship, managing, and of course writing the code most of the time on both FE and BE, shell scripts, etc...
I've recently changed company, joined it as a senior software developer. As the company is much bigger than previous one, my responsibilities became much more narrow - I'm only coding. I feel it now as a one step back. Now I'm thinking about where I want to grow and need a professional advice from software developer who were at my path as well.
As I've already mentioned, I'm very enthusiastic engineer, so I wouldn't want to end up as a project manager working only with papers and budget. I still want to continue evolving my tech-skills but at the same time I want to manage all the processes of the project, design architecture, plan features, grow team.
In what way would you recommend to develop? What positions should I seek? And the most important question: would you recommend to obtai Master degree in Computer Science (or simial tech-field) or Master degree in Business Administration (or similar)?
