I am currently working as a Kernel Driver Programmer in a leading MNC company.Even though I like my job people are saying this is a doomed field and the growth in this field is very less compared to traditional web/app development fields. Even though working in Unix Kernel and System Engineering field is cool and interesting I would like to know the growth prespective in this field and the viable scope in the future for this field.
