Hey Everyone hope you all are doing well.

I am a pre final year student of Mechanical Engineering branch from an average college. I want to make career in tech and get placed in good companies. I currenlty have no internship experience. I've solved around 200 questions on Leetcode and currenltly doing development for my resume.

I have noticed that many of the companies allow only CS/ IT branches to apply for placements. Is there any chance for a Mechanical Engineering student to get into good companies? If yes, then what should be my approach for next 6 months or an year?
