How to switch from support to technical

Hi, I am now employed by TCS and will shortly be joining Phonpe as a support analyst. I worked in a support job at TCS as well. I have 1.3 years of experience in this field. I no longer get a callback when I apply for development jobs, but I do get a callback when I apply for support jobs. I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me how to make the changeover. I'm not interested in pursuing a career in support.
