Working at a FAANG acquisition/subsidiary

I recently applied to one of the Big Tech companies through its career website and successfully completed the interview process.

During the final team matching interviews I found out that it's not a position in the "Big Name Company", it's rather a position in a startup which was acquired. And its current location is about an hour away from the main office in a small town, not in the city center.

I'm ok with all that, since the job description sounds interesting, and I want to leave my current job anyway. But now just wondering if anyone here had an experience working in a subsidiary or acquired company of FAANG, and what would be the pros and cons of working there vs the HQ/main branch (besides missing out on all the cool on-site perks). For example, is it easy to switch to a team later in the future within the same company without re-interviewing? or would I be considered just as an outside-hire?
