I have 3+ years of work experience in a stable product based company with good pay. My project has legacy code base (Language - C++ mainly) and its almost stable with hardly any development work and mostly maintaince work.

However I planned to sit for some interviews and got an offer in an unicorn startup as a Backend Engineer. The tech stacks used over there are mostly Golang/ROR/JS/MongoDB etc.

But the package they have offered is not good enough and almost similar or even little lesser to my current CTC. I have tried negotiating with them but they said as my skill sets are not matching and no prior proffesional experience on this domain I will be offered a salary of a fresher for now.

I wanted some advice on if I shall take this opportunity to switch to this domain even with less pay or continue in my company as of now. Also wanted to understand if there is good growth working in startup and whether I will be able to learn a lot of things.
