Hi, I need urgent advice pls dont skip and comment down your valuable view.\n\nPast exp : 2YOE service base MNC, Tech support role\nI have given interview for SDE1 role but got selected for Support L3 role instead. I wanted to go for Dev role, but it didnt work out.\n\nI have been told next promotion for SE will be SDE1.\n\nNow, I have offers from other product based MNC for 2x+ compensation from what Amazon is offering but role will be Support only. \n\nOne plus point about Amazon is that I could get Dev work after 7-8 months, whereas at other comapnies it is not definitive that I will get to code or not. **Is it better to settle down in half salary with a thought of getting Dev work after few months at FAANG or better to go to other product MNC?**\n\nPls suggest better option for long term.\n\n
