There were questions in comments around how to apply for foreign companies from India. I am going to list down the things that should be kept in mind and how to apply.

Steps:

1. Along with resume, some companies ask for cover letter and I think they take it seriously. My advice would be not copy the same things that are there in your resume, but think a bit and highlight few points that makes you stand out. It can be technical or behavioral.
2. Needless to say that resume should be crisp.
3. Referrals do work for international locations as well. So, use friend XYZ in ABC company.

I also applied for Twitter, Bloomberg(London) and a few others but did not get call.
