Hi,
I switched from QA role for 4 years to Tech Support in Aug 2017. I continued there for 4 years and joined as Full time dev in May 2021. I feel like I am slower at my company (of course, considering my change of role). What can I do to work and prove myself in this situation? I feel like many junior developers are way faster and smarter in development and I feel very discouraged.
My manager has also noticed this thing and in my 1:1 asked me to be faster.

How can I convince him and win his confidence at the same time?
