Hey Leetcode, I am a 2021 grad and I have recently joined OCI and wanted honest opinion of some experienced folks.

I have started working with oracle in July and my team is more inclined towards CI/CD and infrastructure related work and not that much into feature development and I wanted to know if this field is good for career growth as I don't have much experience and currently feels the learning curve is great but not sure if it's in right direction. I am seeing hiring in backend/frontend freqently but in devOps/sre almost negligible hiring for freshers(<2 YOE). My tech stack would be docker, kubernetes, terraform, python or java(not sure now) etc.

Would it be possible to go for backend roles in future(12-16 months) without any backend self projects as it feels infra and backend are tightly coupled. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Backgroud: Mid level NIT passout, prior 2 month internship exp with Amazon(frontend role).
