I've graduated 15 years ago with a CS degree and been working as an IC software engineer with various companies. As I get older, I start wondering if staying the IC path is the way to go. I've done management before but always find myself wanting to get back closer to the code. My conerns is that I'll slow down as I get older and may not be able to keep up with the younger generation. Any software engineers out there in their 40+ that has wrestled with this?
