Hi

I have recently been made an offer of 15 LPA.
I have an old offer of 20 LPA which I did not join due to some concerns about the company. Is there any way for the new company to verify the counter offer as I am thinking to change the dates in it a little to make it seem like its recent only. Or what if I fabricate a completely new one ?

Can the recruiter any how verify the offer ?
