While practicing on Leetcode, I noticed that there are many examples provided along with the question. However, in actual coding interview, if the interviewer doesn't provide any example and just tells the problem statement, then is it fine for me to ask him for the examples if I'm not able to understand the problem statement properly and needs example for that ?

Question 2. Also, I want to know that what's the common practice in big product-based companies. Does interviewers always give supporting examples ?

Question 3. If I ask for supportive examples, will it be create a bad image of me to clear the interviews?
