Hey guys, I am mechanical engineer working in top reputed firm as Deputy Manager from 2015. I have done my Engineering in Mechanical branch from top Engineering college(IIT/NIT/BITS). Now I have developed keen interest in coding and problem solving and I am practicing on leetcode regularly and I am able to solve medium problems everytime and hard problems rarely.
So I want to ask you guys if it will be possible for me to change my careers from Mechanical engineer to Software engineer. I am ready to start as SDE-1 despite of my experience and age.
If you guys know companies/startups for which I can try my luck please let me know in the comments.
